The Refueling Boom Port |
||||||
This aspect of the theory, which came about many months after the initial 'pod' discovery, is yet another example of how the theorists have become arrogant and sloppy. Some of them actually believe that if they see something strange in a picture, and concoct a wild explanation, that it can never be proven wrong. The boom port theory, like the other UA175 theories, is easily proven wrong with just some basic research, research that they refused to do. So, myself and others have done it for them. While the LetsRoll team spent hundreds of hours digging up info on 767 tanker jets to shore up their beliefs, they missed the half a zillion photos available on a.net and other sites that clearly show 767's with what are called "blade antennas" (Thanks to *----* for info on this). Load the following picture and compare the "boom port" in the pod/pipe pics on this page to the location and shape of the blade antenna on the a.net jet. UA-Four. While I say it has been proven wrong, I would still like further confirmation on this aspect to put it to rest. The main reason is that UA175 is listed as a 767 200 class jet, but I have been unable to find a single photo anywhere that shows a 200 class jet with the large round blade antenna near the tail of the plane. All of the photos I've seen are of 300 or 400 class jets. So, this could mean that UA175 was actually a 300/400 class 767 instead of the listed 200 class. Does this equal a conspiracy? Not by itself. I've been told that it is not uncommon to have a mismatch between the actual jet specs and the computer records. I've also been told that there may well be exceptions out there with 767-200's using the rear blade antennas. (Thanks to *----* for info on this). So we've gone from massive research supporting a tanker jet to a few photos pointing to an air phone antenna. Moving right along.... Refueling Port Theory Status: Debunked |
