Before I get started on the point by point, let me issue a standing request for corrections on any of the technical data and observations that you find on my site. Hello everyone. My name is Milkydoo. I am a lay conspiracy theorist. Contrary to what some on the LetsRoll team have told myself and others on their forums, I do not need to share my personal information for my arguments to have merit. I am not an expert in any form, I am not an authority figure, a politician, a corporate insider, military officer, or anyone else who might need to shore up their technical analysis and claims of expertise by posting their credentials. My questions and analysis are real. My questions, observations and viewpoint are held by many laymen; many more than those who believe that the pod/pipe is real. These questions and observations must be reasonably addressed lest the theorists be accused of having a nasty case of tunnel vision. Up to this point, they have not been addressed; they have been ignored. I believe that there IS a real, bona fide conspiracy surrounding 9/11. It seems to me that the evidence is overwhelming for that. However, this does not mean that I do, or that I must, buy into every single idea that a theorist puts forward and it would be quite hypocritical of me to go around blindly promoting ideas that I am skeptical of myself. No one tells me what to think. I ask my own questions. I form my own opinions. I play Devil's Advocate frequently, to make certain that I'm on the right track. Sometimes, when playing D.A., I discover that I've missed something. A question. A bit of evidence. A viewpoint, a perspective. Perhaps I find that I've taken something out of context, or that I've made a critical assumption that has fouled my entire analysis. It is imperative that open minded thinkers constantly play D.A. to ensure they're on the right track. All it takes is one small assumption to throw everyone off track. What if there's something that the promoters of the pod theory have missed? What if the item that they missed is the linchpin for the whole theory? How would they ever know what they've missed if they refuse to examine other possibilities? It is important for every member of the team to keep all of the other members in check, by being skeptical of their conclusions. I'd say that 99% of my very reasonable questions and analysis have been ignored by the crew at the LetsRoll forums. It's not as if they've thoroughly addressed my analysis and determined it to be implausible. No, it has simply been dismissed out of hand. Some of my observations fell by the wayside for many days, before myself or someone else pointed it out again in an attempt to force people to take notice of it. One of these observations were the cylindrical contraptions located on the bottom of normal Boeing jets. The pod theory crew determined, somehow, that this was jet fuel being sprayed out of the center wing tank. The obvious was overlooked; that this could simply be the sun's reflection of a normal jet, flying at high speed, video taped with low resolution, low speed cameras manned by adreniline pumped humans with jittery hands. Additionally, the video stills that are being used are "blown up"; zoomed in, in other words, making the already distorted images look far, far worse and making it even more difficult to tell what is going on. What if they are shown to be wrong? How much time has been wasted? How much money? How much effort and energy? If the "Altered UA175" idea turns out to be completely bogus, then this goose chase will most certainly have damaged the entire independant investigation, possibly beyond repair. If they're wrong, then this energy could have been spent on other parts of the conspiracy that have much more solid evidence to back it up. How many people would use a debunked missile theory as an excuse to ignore the rest of the solid evidence that we have? Of course, this is in fact standard operating procedure for many skeptics. They select the most far fetched portion of a conspiracy theory and use it as an excuse to discard the rest. How many lives might an investigative disaster cost if it ends up burying the truth that it claims to seek? There are at least a handful of experts who have done a thorough scientific analysis on various angles of the 9/11 conspiracy, mainly the Pentagon and the demolition aspects. Unfortunately, we have yet to see even one single expert provide technical analysis that proves any aspect of the pod theory. Zip, zilch, nada, nothing. Not a single self proclaimed, anonymous expert has attempted to validate the pod theory, let alone anyone with a name and a title. Compare the LetsRoll theory explanation with sites like Physics911.org, Serendiptiy and WTC7.net. The difference is obvious. I have attempted a point by point examination of the pod/pipe idea from the skeptical layman's viewpoint in the past, but since I have been banned, verabally assaulted and maligned by certain members on the LetsRoll forums, in addition to having all of my posts deleted for daring to question their conclusions, then I will make my presentation here (many other skeptics and theorists have suffered the same fate at LetsRoll). I intend to keep an open mind if and when new evidence and new analysis is brought forward regarding the missile theory, but I also intend to be practical, and focus on the aspects of the conpsiracy that have the best chance of waking people up. Understand, that I do not have explanations for everything in the UA175 videos and photos. In my opinion, some things still need answers, but I think that the bulk of it has simpler explanations. |
A Brief Point by Point of the Pod Theory |
The theorists origninally started with just one missile after finding what looks like a foreign object attached to the fuselage. They combined these 'pod' pictures with white and orange flashes as the jet enters the building to support the missile theory. Later on, one person theorised that there was a 2nd missile firing backwards inside the pipe. The pipe is supposed to conceal the missile exhaust while the secondary missile assists in detonating the fuel pallets inside the tanker jet. The tanker jet idea came about as the theorists claimed that they could not find any passenger windows on the plane and also thought they found a refueling boom port at the rear of the plane. The jet fuel spray theory cropped up to explain two unidentified spikes on the bottom of the fuselage as well as some of the visual distortion in the photos and videos. The port wing bomb is the latest addition to the theory and is yet another unidentified fuzzy blob next to the port engine. As to the "Why?" of it all, I don't have time to go into that here. I'll let LetsRoll and the other 9/11 sites answer that question. |
